Jessica joined the Lutsko team in 2020 after completing a Master of Landscape Architecture degree at UC Berkeley. Her design sensibilities are grounded in her previous education in environmental engineering and experience working with complex sites. Her appreciation for cultural landscapes grew exponentially after working at the Presidio of San Francisco where she gained experience in designing with historical features and modern park amenities. Jessica is inspired by native Californian and Mediterranean landscapes alike as a California native herself with roots in rural mountain communities, the Central Valley, and the Bay Area. She is currently lecturing for the UC Davis Landscape Architecture + Environmental Design department where she continues to develop her passion for teaching. Jessica spends most of her free time gardening or with an eye out for wildflowers to harvest.
