Having grown up in New England’s woodlands and chosen California as her home, Rebecca joins Lutsko Associates with an affinity for diverse environments, from the richly layered to potently spare. Curiosities about our anthropocene age compel her towards deliberate and poignant expressions of the interplay between cultural and natural dialogues. Regenerative design threads her prior permaculture work on farms and homesteads, as well as through a range of project scales, from sea level rise adaptation, mixed-use redevelopment, and civic and estate restoration. She continues to cultivate her backyard in Berkeley and is learning to sail the San Francisco Bay.
