At Lutsko Associates we are dedicated to high quality, forward thinking landscape design. Our work explores and expresses relationships between people and the environment. We employ a rigorous design process to create thoughtful and meaningful landscapes with a sound theoretical base.

Headed by Ron Lutsko, Jr., principal and founder, the firm consists of ten associates, each bringing a unique background to our projects. Since the founding of the firm in San Francisco in 1981, Lutsko Associates now works on projects throughout the world.

The firm works in all areas of professional practice: residential, commercial, civic and institutional. Our residential design ranges from small urban gardens to large-scale rural ranches, farms, and estates. Our commercial projects range from wineries to eco resorts and inns. The majority of our projects encompass the institutional and civic realm, including religious and educational campuses, parks, botanic gardens, museums, libraries, theaters, and nature study areas. Our projects have secured numerous awards and have been published internationally.
